TERMS & CONDITIONS

Repair and warranty policies

  • We repair phones, tablets, computers, smartwatches and game consoles. Services range from screen, battery and charging repairs to microsoldering, motherboard work, severe physical damage and data recovery. Services vary by device and model, so please contact ElectroFix to confirm whether we repair your specific device.

  • Pricing depends on the device, model, damage and part required. We inspect the device and explain the available repair options and prices before proceeding.

  • Many repairs include a limited warranty of up to 90 days. Some services may carry 30 or 15 days, or no warranty. The exact coverage appears on your receipt or repair order.

  • Many common repairs can be completed the same day or while you wait. Timing depends on the damage, repair complexity and part availability. We will provide an estimate after evaluating the device.

  • No. Walk-ins are welcome during regular business hours.

  • Providing a passcode, PIN or unlock pattern is voluntary, but it may be needed to test functions after repair. We recommend creating a temporary code and changing it after pickup. Without access, some features may remain untested; a later inspection is complimentary, but any additional repair would be quoted separately before work begins.

  • Our standard repair-focused inspection is complimentary. A fee applies when you request a formal professional diagnosis or report, written or verbal, including documentation for insurance, legal, personal or business use.

  • Yes. The primary goal of liquid-damage service is often data recovery, although some devices become fully functional. Results and continued operation cannot be guaranteed.

  • We can provide a formal diagnostic report for a disclosed fee, but we do not work directly with insurers or submit claims. Customers pay ElectroFix and independently request reimbursement from their insurance provider.

  • We are located at 4912 Golden Gate Pkwy, Naples, FL 34116.

We are open Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:30 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM-5:00 PM; and Sunday, closed.

  • We accept cash, credit and debit cards, Zelle, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We do not take card information or process payments verbally by phone. When available, we can send a secure payment link by text message or email.

  • Repairs may include a limited warranty of up to 90 days. Depending on the service, device condition and installed part, coverage may be 90, 30 or 15 days, or the repair may have no warranty. The applicable period and coverage will be stated on the receipt or repair order.

The warranty covers only defects in the part installed by ElectroFix and the workmanship directly related to that repair. It is not insurance and does not cover the entire device, unrelated failures, refunds or replacement of the customer’s device.

A claim must be inspected and approved by ElectroFix. If approved, ElectroFix may repair the covered part or replace only that part with a compatible one. Warranty service does not restart or extend the original warranty period.

  • Cracked screens, broken back glass and other physical damage are not covered. ElectroFix may inspect the entire device for evidence of impact, including broken glass or camera lenses, damaged corners, bent or dented frames, pressure damage, and LCD or OLED lines, spots or discoloration.

Evidence of a drop, impact, bending, crushing or pressure may void the affected warranty even when the repaired part is not visibly broken. Back-glass repairs cover only separation caused by an installation defect—not breakage, scratches, impact or pressure.

  • Liquid-damage repair services are nonrefundable and do not include a warranty. Their primary purpose is to attempt data recovery, although a device may become fully functional. ElectroFix cannot guarantee that it will remain functional or avoid future corrosion-related problems.

A new part installed during liquid-damage service may carry the warranty stated on the receipt. That coverage applies only to a defect in the new part or its installation, not to corrosion, the original liquid damage or new liquid exposure.

  • Consoles containing cockroaches, insects, residue or other pest contamination may require a separate cleaning and disinfection fee. Console warranty coverage is void if the device returns with pest contamination or damage caused by a power surge, lightning or electrical instability.

Even when the same repair is needed again, a new repair charge applies if the failure resulted from an excluded condition. The disinfection fee also applies when required.

  • Coverage is void for the affected repair when the device has new physical or liquid damage, unauthorized opening or repair, tampering, improper use, accidental damage, or damage from incompatible chargers, accessories or components.

  • ElectroFix offers a complimentary repair-focused inspection to determine whether a device can be repaired. If it is not repairable, the customer is not charged for this standard inspection. If it is repairable, ElectroFix will provide the available options and prices before proceeding.

A fee applies when the customer requests a formal professional diagnosis, written or verbal, with or without repair, including reports for personal, business, legal or insurance purposes. The fee will be disclosed before the diagnosis.

ElectroFix does not work directly with insurance companies, submit claims or guarantee reimbursement. The customer must pay ElectroFix in full and may independently submit a claim to the insurance provider.

  • ElectroFix does not guarantee that every device can be repaired. Hidden damage, corrosion, motherboard failure, previous repair damage or unrelated problems may prevent a successful repair.

All repair services are final and nonrefundable. Completed labor and approved repair-attempt charges remain due even when the device cannot be fully restored. Retail accessories or physical parts purchased separately may be eligible for return or exchange based on their condition, packaging and proof of purchase.

  • Customers are responsible for backing up their information before service whenever possible. ElectroFix is not responsible for loss of photos, contacts, applications, passwords or other data caused by the device’s existing condition, failure, diagnostic process or repair attempt.

A passcode, PIN or unlock pattern may be requested only when needed to diagnose the device or verify the authorized repair. Providing it is voluntary. Customers are encouraged to create a temporary code and change it after pickup. ElectroFix does not intentionally review, copy or retain personal content unrelated to the repair.

If access is not provided, some functions may not be fully tested. A later repair-focused inspection remains complimentary, but any additional repair found necessary will be quoted separately and requires customer approval.

Some severely damaged devices require high-risk procedures as the only reasonable repair or data-recovery option. These procedures may cause partial or total loss of data or may leave the device unable to power on. ElectroFix will discuss the known risks before beginning. By authorizing the work, the customer accepts those risks and releases ElectroFix from responsibility for resulting partial or total loss of data or the device.

Customers remain responsible for backing up their data, providing accurate contact information and responding to service and pickup communications.

  • Many repairs can be completed while the customer waits. If the customer leaves the device and ElectroFix provides an expected completion date or time, that information is considered a pickup notification.

Devices must be collected promptly. A device left for more than 30 days after the communicated completion time or another pickup notification may be considered abandoned. ElectroFix is not responsible for loss, damage or continued storage of devices left beyond this period.
